Terms of Service

By creating an account, accessing or using Paireva you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. In these terms, "we", "us" and "the company" mean the operator of Paireva, and "you" means the individual member using the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old. Accounts belonging to anyone under 18 are terminated.
• One account per person. Additional, duplicate or shared accounts may be removed.
• You must provide accurate, current and truthful information about yourself, and keep it up to date.
• You may not use Paireva if you have previously been removed for a violation of these terms.

Paireva is an automated matchmaking service. Introductions are produced by software from the answers members give about themselves and about what they are looking for.

• Compatibility scores are relative comparisons of stated preferences and self-reported answers. They are not predictions of relationship or marriage success, and must not be relied on as such.
• No human matchmakers read your profile, review your matches or select people for you. The service is fully automated.
• Matching depends entirely on information members choose to provide, which we do not independently verify unless a specific verification check says otherwise.
• Features, limits and the composition of plans may change as the service develops.

You agree not to do any of the following, and we may remove your account without notice if you do:

• Harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse any member.
• Post or send hate speech, or content that attacks or demeans people on the basis of protected characteristics.
• Impersonate any person, misrepresent your age, identity, marital status or affiliations, or use someone else's photographs.
• Solicit members for any commercial purpose, including advertising, recruiting, promotion, investment schemes, cryptocurrency, romance scams or any request for money, gifts or financial information.
• Share, publish or redistribute another member's private information, photographs or messages outside the service.
• Attempt to contact, or engage in any communication with, a person under 18.
• Create multiple, automated or fake accounts, or sell, share or transfer your account.
• Scrape, crawl, harvest, index or use bots, scripts or other automated means to access the service, or attempt to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload or circumvent any security, rate limit or access control.

You keep ownership of the photographs, answers and messages you provide. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display that content to other eligible members and to you, solely for the purpose of operating and improving the service in the ways described in these terms and the Privacy Policy. This licence exists only for as long as we host your content: when you close or delete your account, your profile content is removed from the service, subject to the retention periods described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for the content you upload and you confirm that you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

• Paid plans renew automatically at the stated interval (for example monthly or every 90 days) until you cancel.
• You may cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for; you keep access until then.
• Payments are non-refundable and we do not provide partial or pro-rated refunds, except where a refund is required by applicable law.
• Prices may change. We will give you notice before a change takes effect, and any new price applies only from your next renewal.
• Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor. We do not store your card details.

You may close your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend, restrict the visibility of, or terminate an account, with or without notice, where we identify a violation of these terms, suspected fraud or impersonation, automated risk or abuse signals, or a risk to other members or to the service. Where a paid account is terminated for a violation, no refund is due except as required by law.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that you will find a match, a relationship or a spouse, that introductions will be suitable, that any member's profile information is accurate or truthful, or that the service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability to you for all claims arising out of or relating to the service or these terms is limited to the total amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months immediately before the event giving rise to the claim.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill or emotional distress, and we are not liable for the conduct — online or offline — of any member or other third party.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, such as liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless the operator of Paireva and its officers, employees, agents and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your conduct, your content, your interactions with other members, or your breach of these terms or of applicable law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada, and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Where permitted and enforceable in your jurisdiction, any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will be resolved by final and binding arbitration on an individual basis, conducted in Alberta, Canada, and you and we each waive any right to participate in a class, collective or representative proceeding. Either of us may still bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property or prevent misuse of the service. If this arbitration provision or the class-action waiver is unenforceable where you live, the dispute will be heard by the courts of Alberta, Canada, unless applicable consumer law gives you the right to bring it in your local courts.

• Force majeure: we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages, network failures, acts of government, labour disputes or natural events.
• Severability: if any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in force and the unenforceable provision is limited to the minimum extent necessary.
• No waiver: our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
• Assignment: you may not assign these terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
• Changes: we may update these terms. The updated version is posted here with a new effective date, and material changes are notified in the app or by email. Continued use of the service after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
• Entire agreement: these terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us about the service, and replace any earlier understanding.
